Attach plywood to the top of the pedestal for a smooth surface for your horse to stand on. Sand the edges to ensure safety and comfort. Test the pedestal by placing your foot on it; if it feels stable and comfortable, it’s ready for your horse.
Maintenance and Safety:
Regularly check the pedestal for loose screws or nails and tighten them as needed. Clean the surface regularly to remove dirt or debris that could cause your horse to slip. Always prioritize safety when working with horses and follow necessary guidelines.
