Instructions:
- Select the type of light bulb you want to use for your project, incandescent or LED bulbs.
- Gather all materials needed, including paint, paintbrushes or a spray gun, acrylic paint or spray paint, painter’s tape or masking tape, and silicone sealant.
- Place the light bulb on a flat surface and use painter’s tape or masking tape to cover any parts you don’t want painted.
- Apply a thin layer of acrylic paint, dry it completely, and apply another coat if needed.
- Apply a thin layer of silicone sealant evenly over the entire surface of the bulb.
- Allow the silicone to cure for 24 hours before turning on the light bulb.
- Remove painter’s tape or masking tape and turn on your new hilicone dipped creation!
Tips:
Use a clear or frosted glass acrylic paint, apply high-quality acrylic paint or spray paint for best results, avoid lumps or bumps with thin even layer of silicone sealant, add personal touch by adding initials or names using a small paintbrush or stencil.
